About Us

Turnerbaits was born from a lifelong passion for carp fishing, founded by brothers Mark and Damien Turner. Having fished for carp since the early 1990s alongside our dad (Richard), we started rolling our own bait back in 1994, driven by one simple aim — to create bait that genuinely worked on the bank.

Over the years, our baits helped produce some great results, built around proven ingredients and a no-nonsense approach to carp fishing. As time moved on, circumstances changed, and the company eventually closed its doors.

Today, Turnerbaits has been brought back by me, Damien — not as a full relaunch, but to offer the remaining stock originally kept aside for my own personal fishing. After having a proper sort out, I realised I had over 300 pots in stock, far more than I could ever use myself. These are the same tried and tested baits, made with one purpose in mind — to catch carp.

Alongside this, some of the hookbaits I created for my own fishing were made without compromise, using high-end ingredients at a cost I never believed anglers would be willing to pay. But after a conversation with a family member who is also a keen carp angler, and seeing that premium hookbaits are now being sold for up to £45, it became clear there was a place in the market for the hookbaits I had made. As a result, the website has been updated and supporting pages created.
